We will continuously update this page with new training materials. Resources may be reorganized throughout the academic year to highlight the most timely and relevant content.

While MyVassar isn’t available for hands-on testing yet, these training resources will help you get familiar with the system and what to expect ahead of our January 2027 release. We’ll offer hands-on access at several upcoming in-person preview and training events—keep an eye on your inbox for details! We are also exploring early asynchronous access before launch and will share more information if that becomes available.

MyVassar General Navigation

  1. MyVassar will be available on OneLogin.
  2. Use your SSO login to open MyVassar. PINs and 999 ID numbers are no longer required to access information. 

 

What are Cards?

Cards are what you will use to access the information and data you once accessed in AskBanner. For example, you used to access your unofficial transcript in AskBanner as a link. Now, you will access your unofficial transcript as a card. 

As demonstrated below, cards may have interactive elements, like buttons, links, and scrolling features. Other cards may just display static information. 

What are Roles?

Roles determine which cards you can access in MyVassar.

As a student, you access different cards than Faculty do. For example, Faculty cannot view the Pay My Bill card where students pay tuition because they do not have the appropriate role and access. Inversely, you cannot view the Faculty Grading card where Faculty enter grades because you do not have the appropriate role and access level. 

The MyVassar home page shows your default set of cards, based on your role. As a student, you will see cards relevant to you, for example, the My Transcript card and the Classes card.

 

 

To find more cards, click 🔍VIEW ALL CARDS on the right side of the dashboard. This will show you all cards, including cards that are and are not on your homepage.

 

You can adjust what you see on your home page, including removing cards from your homepage, adding cards to your homepage, and reordering cards on your home page.

Removing a card from your homepage

  • Click the flag button on the upper right corner of the card. 
  • The card will no longer appear on your homepage, but it will remain in the VIEW ALL CARDS page.

Adding a card to your homepage

  • Click VIEW ALL CARDS on the right side of your homepage.
  • Locate the card, and click the flag button on the upper right corner of the card. 
  • The card has now been added to your home page. 

Reordering cards on your homepage

  • Click on the top of the card and drag it in order of where you prefer.

Note on Locking Cards in Place

We have the ability to “lock” cards to your home page, so that something relevant to your role shows up at the top. For example, if Preregistration is open, the card for preregistration may be locked to the top of the student homepage. Or if Faculty Grading is open, that card may be locked to the top of the faculty homepage until Faculty Grading has ended. 

The dashboard at the top of MyVassar features announcements, a calendar, a notification bell, and your profile. 

Account

Click on the account button to view your profile or to sign out of MyVassar. In the profile page, you can view your Vassar ID, address, and your role in MyVassar (e.g., student), as well as adjust your settings.   

Announcements

We can send out time-based, role-based announcements to the Vassar community. For example, when the End of Course surveys open, we might add it to your dashboard as an announcement and include the link to the End of Course survey. 

Calendar

The calendar shows upcoming academic deadlines and holidays. It does not sync to your Google calendar. 

Notification Bell

The bell notifies you if there are any reminders you set with the My To-Do List Card, or any workflows needing your attention. A red circle next to the bell indicates a new notification.

Finding Your Academic Information

The Classes card will show you show courses you are currently taking and courses you took in the past. By adjusting the semester in the card dropdown, you can view the courses you took or are taking in one specific term. 

How to View Your List of Classes

  1. Log into MyVassar.
  2. Scroll to the Classes card OR
    • Click View All Cards and search “Classes” if it does not appear on your home screen.
  3. On the card interface, click on the drop down to adjust the term (e.g., Spring 2026). This will populate the courses you took that semester.  
  4. Click on the blank space of the card for an expanded view of the courses you are enrolled in for that semester.

What You'll See

  • In the expanded view, you can see the following:
    • Meeting times 
    • Meeting location
    • Grade (if grades have rolled)
    • Instructor (first initial, last name)
    • Units

Notes

  • This card will only show your grade after grades roll. Until then, you will see your instructor’s initial and last name, as well as the instructor’s initial in a gray circle.
  • This is a quick way to view courses each semester.
  • To view all the courses you have taken at Vassar, navigate either to the Degree Works card or to the My Transcript card.

Locating the Calendar View of My Current Class Schedule

The Class Schedule card is has an interactive calendar that shows you your hourly schedule for each day. 

  1. Log into MyVassar.
  2. Scroll to the Class Schedule card OR
    • Click View All Cards and search “Class Schedule” if it does not appear on your home screen.

Navigating the Calendar

  1. On the card interface, click the “Today” link to view the first course that is meeting today on your hourly schedule.
  2. Scroll down within the card to view courses occurring later that day. 
  3. Click on a day of the week (“Mon 27”) to view your hourly schedule for that day. 
  4. Click on the left and right arrows next to the “Today” link, to move backward and forward in weekly increments. 

Notes

  • The Class Schedule card does not search past semesters in a dropdown like the Classes card. To view courses you took in previous semesters, use the Transcript Card or the Classes Card. 

How to Find Your Unofficial Transcript

  1. Log into MyVassar
  2. Scroll to the My Transcript card OR
    • Click View All Cards and search “My Transcript” if it does not appear on your Home Screen.
  3. Select in the drop downs
    • Transcript Level = Undergraduate
    • Transcript Type = Unofficial Transcript
  4. Click Submit

What You'll See on Your Unofficial Transcript

  • Courses taken at Vassar, organized by term (e.g., Spring 2027)
  • Any accepted transfer credits 
  • Courses that are still in progress 
  • Grades and GPA 

Printing Your Unofficial Transcript

You may print your unofficial transcript or save it as a PDF by clicking the Print button in the upper right hand side of your academic transcript page.

Note

This does not replace your official transcript. To order an official transcript, navigate to the Registrar Office Transcript Information page.

How to Pay Your Bill on TouchNet

You can access TouchNet on MyVassar by via the Pay My Bill card.

  1. Log into MyVassar
  2. Locate Pay My Bill card on your home page OR
    • Click View All Cards and search “Pay My Bill” if it does not appear on your home screen. 
  3. Click on the card link, which will take you to the TouchNet page.

How to Find the Student Financial Aid Portal

You can access the Student Financial Aid Portal in MyVassar by clicking the Financial Aid link in the Student Financial Services card. Doing so will take you directly to the Student Financial Aid portal.

  1. Log into MyVassar
  2. Locate Student Financial Services card on your home page OR
    • Click View All Cards and search “Student Financial Services” if it does not appear on your home screen.
  3. Click on the Financial Aid Portal link, which will take you to the Financial Aid Portal.

How to Find Degree Works

You can access Degree Works in MyVassar as a card. Clicking the Degree Works button will take you to the login page if you have not logged in recently. 

  1. Log into MyVassar
  2. Locate Degree Works card on your home page OR
    • Click View All Cards and search “Degree Works” if it does not appear on your home screen.
  3. Click on the card link, which will take you to the Degree Works page.

How to Find Schedule Brewer

You can access Schedule Brewer on MyVassar as a card. Clicking the Schedule Brewer card button will take you to the website to begin planning for your next semester.

  1. Log into MyVassar
  2. Locate Schedule Brewer card on your home page OR
    • Click View All Cards and search “Schedule Brewer” if it does not appear on your home screen. 
  3. Click on the card link, which will take you to the Schedule Brewer website.

Accessing MyVassar

MyVassar is going live January, 2027.

 

However, we plan to give the campus access to the MyVassar test environment over the Summer and early Fall to get acquainted with the platform.

MyVassar will be available on your Vassar OneLogin page when it goes live in January, 2027. 

You will use your VassarOne single-sign-on (SSO) account to securely access MyVassar.

No, you will no longer need to enter a pin to access the system. The SSO login with dual (DUO) authentication eliminates the need for PINs and 999 numbers.
