Resources tailored for Academic AA’s and other employees are coming soon. As we progress toward the January 2027 release, additional guides, videos, and FAQs will be added to all role-based training pages.
Initial groups affected by the release window will be contacted soon to schedule required training sessions. Information about training sessions open to the entire Vassar community will also be shared soon.
No action in MyVassar is required until the January 2027 launch
These training materials are provided to help you prepare for the transition and familiarize yourself with the system before the launch.
Our community research has shown that effective training is crucial to the success of this project, and we are committed to delivering a comprehensive program that meets the needs of our community. If you can’t find the information you’re looking for, or have a suggestion for new training materials that could benefit our community, please let us know by using one of the feedback forms on the Get Involved page.
Training Strategy
Our training will be delivered through a tiered*, plan that prioritizes offices and departments where the January 2027 release window could affect revenue, student eligibility, academic standing, registration, compliance, or campus operations. These initial groups will be required to complete training sessions leading up to the January 2027 MyVassar release. They will also have custom guides for their specific areas, as well as more generalized help guides and videos that will be available to the entire Vassar community via these Training web pages. All other offices/departments will be invited to participate in training sessions and will also have access to a variety of self-guided training resources. We are committed to listening and adapting at every phase. By tracking attendance, user feedback, and support requests, we’ll continuously refine our training materials and provide extra help wherever it’s needed most.
*Tiers were identified by release impact assessment survey response analysis, SEI project team discussions with offices/departments, and SEI steering committee guidance.
