After the SIS First Look: From Demos to Design
This message was originally shared as a formatted newsletter to make the information as digestible as possible. Read the email in that format here.
Thank you for joining us last week to get a first look at the future of our Student Information System (SIS)! We appreciate your time, thoughtful questions, and engagement during the demo sessions. It was great introducing you to the exciting new tools coming soon: Ellucian Experience, Ellucian Insights, and Cognomos Course Match (pre-registration system). If you missed a session or want to revisit the presentations, videos of the event will be available on our website soon.
As we move into the design phase of the SIS project this summer, we’ll be working closely with subject matter experts across campus to digest the information gathered at our capability review workshops and start to shape key components of the system. Your insights and involvement continue to be valuable throughout this process. If you’re interested in playing a bigger role, now is a great time to get involved by joining our working group. We would also greatly appreciate it if you could complete this brief survey to help us identify trends in our community’s current SIS Enhancement Initiative understanding.
And stay tuned—we’re already planning our next SIS event this fall! We look forward to sharing even more progress with you then.
Thank you again for being part of this important journey. Community guidance remains at the core of this initiative, and continued support from the community is essential to its success.
