As we embark on the Student Information System (SIS) Enhancement Initiative, we are seeking your valuable input and expertise! The next phase involves deep-dive sessions where members of the Vassar community will collaborate directly with Ellucian (Banner) consultants. During these sessions, your insights will be crucial to understanding how specific processes are currently managed at Vassar.

What we’re looking for:
We are gathering a group of interested employees to participate and represent your academic areas in one or two of these deep-dive sessions. Each session will focus on a specific topic (listed below and examples attached) and will be held virtually via Zoom. Sessions will last approximately one hour and may require one to three meetings per topic.

You will not be expected to attend every session, and you will receive an agenda in advance of each meeting. Topics include:

• Student Recruitment
• Student Admission
• Curriculum Management
• Student Enrollment
• Student Financial Aid
• Student Assessment
• Conferral and Commencement
• Student Accounts
• Student and Academic Administration
• Teaching and Learning Delivery
• Student Academic Advising
• Student Support Services
